YOUR DIMENSIONS AND MEASUREMENTS

To start, we need your body dimensions, and measurements from your existing bike. If you already know precisely what you want you want please skip this section - you can jump to the form at the bottom of this page where you can input frame details. Otherwise, read on...

We usually combine three types of information to arrive at your ideal frame dimensions:

We use your body measurements and take into account individual variations such as in flexibility, leg strength, and fitness
We use dimensions from your existing bike and variations you can specify
We ask about your riding style, type of riding, component choice, and preferences, and feed these into a model of your position on the bike

Once we have worked out a suitable position we derive a frame size based on your requirements and preferences. If required, we will send you a scale drawing of your frame to illustrate your position on the bike. You can then tell us how you would like your new frame to vary, or ask us to work out the best fit. Note, if you've got one, it's always useful to use an existing bike as a guide to sanity check what works for you personally.

Please note, if we see something that simply looks like it won't work we will say so! However, it's important to be precise with the dimensions you supply.

There is a simple two stage process to get the information we need:

Follow the instructions below to measure your body and input your measurements to calculate the correct frame dimensions.  Measuring your body should take around 5 to 10 minutes.  For the measurements it's alot easier if someone else gives you a hand
Measure your existing bicycle frame and fill in the form at the bottom of this page with any changes in dimensions you want

Note: This form can be used for both road and MTB frames - just watch out for the section headings to see what you need to provide.
